Stay In Touch With Us On:

Sullivan Hall is New York City’s premier small concert venue, with unmatched quality of sound & lighting for any comparably-sized venue in New York City, and a calendar always full of top tier talent. It is in the space formerly known as the Lion’s Den, which we gutted and renovated in late 2007 and re-opened on January 1st, 2008. Big Sam’s Funky Nation from New Orleans, who performed on New Year’s Eve 2008 were technically the last act to perform at Lion’s Den and the first act to perform at Sullivan Hall. Later that night, San Francisco’s Tea Leaf Green played the opening night ceremonies.

A partial list of other performers at Sullivan Hall includes Anders Osborne Asher Roth Black Sheep Chris Dave Trio Christian Scott Cyril Neville The Dirty Heads Disgrace (Al, Chuck, Rob of moe.) Dr. Lonnie Smith The English Beat EOTO Eric Lindell Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk John Popper Jonathan Batiste Kaki King Les Nubians The Low Anthem Marc Ribot Marco Benevento Matisyahu Medeski Martin & Hunter Mos Def The New Mastersounds ?uestlove The Radiators Rebirth Brass Band Robert Glasper The Slip SOJA Stanton Moore Sonya Kitchell Theresa Andersson Tony Joe White Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue Warren Haynes and Will Calhoun.

If someone does not have any form of ID, they will not be permitted into the club. This is NYC Police orders, not the venues. Please advertise your performance as an 18+ performance.

We will allow someone under the age of 18, with a parent. Not a sibling. It must be a parent. And it must be at a maximum ratio of two minors to one parent. Please do not contact the venue to make an exception. We can not.

Beverage & Food
Sullivan Hall has a full bar with bottled & draft beer, wine, mid to top-shelf spirits, single malt and blended scotches and more. For those that do not drink alcohol, we do serve soda, juice, and bottled water as well. As for food, we serve pizza only.

Coat Check
We have a coat check attendant every night from Mid-October through Mid-April. If it’s unseasonably cold in September through Mid-October or from Mid-April through May, we may have a coat check attendant as well. The price of coat check is $3/item. You do not have to check your coat at Sullivan Hall, but if you do not check it, you must hold onto it then. We do not want the floor, stage, and bar littered with coats. Thanks.
